Hardware Requirements

The MD Logic Software in offered in both Cloud and Server Based solutions.
 
MD Logic Cloud
With MD Logic Cloud the customer is accessing MD Logic via the Internet. High speed Internet connection is required to ensure speed and efficiency with our Cloud solution. No server is required with MD Logic Cloud.
 
MD Logic Server
With MD Logic Server the customer will be running the MD Logic software on their own in-house server(s). 
 
There are (4) options available for server solutions that include the following: 
 
  1. Customer O&I Option - Customer orders the server, network software and any other hardware to be used to operate the MD Logic Software. Customer is responsible for configuring and set up of all hardware.
  2. Order and Ship Option - MD Logic orders the server, network software and other hardware to be used to operate the MD Logic Software. MD Logic ships order to customer site. Customer is responsible for configuring and set up of all hardware.
  3. Hot Stage Option - MD Logic orders the server, network software and other hardware to be used to operate the MD Logic Software. The MD Logic support team will configure the server(s) with the Microsoft network software making the server MD Logic ready. The server will be shipped to the customer’s site where their local IT person will install and set up the server.
  4. Turnkey Option - MD Logic orders the server, network software and any other hardware to be used to operate the MD Logic Software. The MD Logic support team will configure the server with the Microsoft network software making the server MD Logic ready. The server will be shipped to the customer’s site where a Microsoft certified network engineer will travel onsite to install and set up the server and other hardware
 
SERVER SPECS
  • Minimum    16 GB RAM
  • Minimum  500 GB HD Free Space Minimal (1 TB of Free Space Recommended)
  • Minimum    50 GB HD Free for OS Partition
 
PRINTER SPECS
  • Network Printers are recommended
  • For local printing, the print drivers must be loaded on the local PC and terminal server
 
SCANNER SPECS
  • Fujitsu Scanners
  • Scanner workstation must have 6GB Ram and USB 2.0 Ports
  • Scanner workstation must have Windows 7 or 8 Operating System
  • Please test scanner to make sure it is generating a PDF document
 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • IP faxing is recommended
  • Customer must DSL, Cable Modem or T1 line Internet Connection
  • Static IP address is HIGHLY recommended
  • All remote / satellite locations must have high-speed Internet Connection
  • Business class router is required at all locations
  • Site VPN is required for all satellite office that plan on scanning documents
