Interfacing with your Practice Management System

With MD Logic, there is no need to change your current billing system. MD Logic provides a standard HL7 interface for sharing data with other software vendors. We offer a turnkey HL7 patient demographic interface designed to work with any Practice Management System running the standard HL7 format. HL7 is the standard used by medical software companies to exchange data.

Since patient demographic information is first entered into your billing system, we utilize HL7 to automate the transfer of the patient demographics over to the MD Logic World Wide EMR. Once a patient is added to your billing system, any changes to the patient demographics are automatically transferred and updated in MD Logic. Since HL7 is the national standard for transferring data, our HL7 interfaces have become a turn-key solution in automating the link between any billing company.

Once a customer has decided to implement MD Logic the next step is having your billing company submit test data in HL7 to MD Logic. MD Logic will run the test data and confirm the data is complete and complies with HL7 standards. Any changes required to meet HL7 standards would be communicated directly to your billing system.
